Calling All Arizona Bound Explorers
submitted by Gary & Marilynne Lonnee
Expecting to be in the Phoenix area this winter? If so, then you may be interested to know that plans are being finalized for three Explorer Arizona Snowbird luncheons for the winter of 2005. All of the luncheons will start about 11:00 am and will be held in the main ballroom of the Valle del Oro RV Resort, 1452 S. Ellsworth Road, Mesa, AZ. (It's in the East Valley just a stones throw north of U.S. 60/Superstition Hwy.) The luncheons will be held on the following Fridays: January 21st, February 18th, and March 18th. The menu will feature homemade Taco Salads or Hamburgers. Cold drinks and ice cream bars are also available. This venue should provide a great opportunity for all of us to make new friendships and renew old ones. If you expect to be in the Phoenix area this winter please let us know by either e-mailing or calling Marcia. She will forward your note of interest to us. For those of you that have e-mail, we'll keep you updated of any changes etc.

P.S. As you reach the VDO front gate, just ask for directions to the main complex/ballroom and look for Explorer signage.
